There are many different paths for the paralegal these days. As paralegals do much of the same things that the attorney does, they cannot give any legal advice, present any cases in court. But, they are a valuable part of the legal world.
Being masters to organization, a paralegal is known for those attributes. They coordinate and maintain a flow in the office, as well as, coordinate many duties for the attorney. An attorney would be lost without a good paralegal at their side.
There are a lot of areas of law that a paralegal can work. Some choose the more popular ares of law as criminal law, family law, litigation and corporate law. But, also working with the government can be a very lucrative choice, as well.
Sometimes one field of law can be a little overwhelming to work in, so it is a good thing that one can find valuable work in another division, without risking too much.
